Cornish cruisin' at the Roxy RUNSUPYOGA

Takin’ it to the heart of the British surf scene, Roxy touched down on Fistral Beach, Newquay for an awesome day of #RUPSUPSOGA (the clue’s in the name dudes).  A quick hightail down the motorway with fellow Roxy Ambassador, the yoga-licious Lucy Foster Perkins, and we were ready to roll and fully kitted out in a hella array of bright spandex from our favourite purveyors of surf and fitness threads, Roxy.  Having grown up with Roxy I’ve been stoked to see the brand develop and grow into a more modern women's lifestyle brand, encompassing all facets of fitness, shred, innate adventure and love of life.

A jam-packed day of morning yoga with the sun’s rays just creeping over the infamous Headland (AKA The Witches) Hotel ( I still get nightmares of that place from the film! Argh!!) hosted by Ms Lucy, and we were limbered up and ready to get it going in the SUP race and 3k run up up and down the tricky sticky sand in the beach.  All the participants killed it and I love just how easy it is, to one minute be trekking the scorching pavements in London rushing around the manic metropolis, the next to have toes in the swell and having an adventure right on my doorstep.  Once the event wrapped up I was so stoked to share waves with good buddies, photographer extraordinare and long-time friend Nick Pumphrey, and Ms Bronze bling medal herself, Jenny Jones.  Dang, what’s better than warm waves, cruising a log as the sun sets and stoking your brains out with your friends? Not much!  Check the video below for a rad re-cap of the full day.
