FITNESS: STRENGTH TRAINING WORKOUT

Ok so, we find ourselves, like many of you, SANS weights room during this time.

We are however, shrewd little devils, so Sophie Mad To Live went and found herself a heavy rock, which has quickly become her new best friend (think Tom Hanks and Wilson in Castaway.  Yep ⚽). Now we’re not saying use a large rock per say, ONLY if you do so safely, please try a heavy backpack filled up, super large water bottles, whatever works!

This is strength training and we are aiming for muscular strength, so we are going for fewer reps.  We sped up the video but you’re going much slower than this.

Aim for two to six sets of less than six reps at 80 to 90 percent of your max capacity 💪💪💪

Make sure you get a good 10 minute warm up in, focussing on mobility.  I

-LUNGE PULSE (BOTH SIDES)

-PUSH-UP

- MOVING ACROSS THE ROCK/WEIGHT -SIT-UP WITH WEIGHT

-RUSSIAN TWIST
