Fitness instructor & lifestyle expert, Roxy ambassador, free-surfer and adventure-nut Sophie Everard of the Mad To Live blog is collaborating with the Surf Bikini Retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica to bring the ULTIMATE women's fitness, surf and adventure retreat in February 2017.
Start 2017 with a life-changing 10 day adventure in breath-taking Nosara in the Guanacaste region of the lush and wildly beautiful Costa Rica. The trip is set to be a heart-racing, unforgettable adventure with a focus on physical and mental wellbeing and learning new skills to take home with you. From touch down get off the beaten track and immerse yourself in the culture of “pura vida” and find out why the region is one of only 7 “blue zones” in the world.
Hosted by fitness and sports coach Sophie Everard (CV includes Move Your Frame, The Soho House Group and Another Space), the retreat will be a jam-packed 10 days of surfing with expert tuition, sunset beach yoga sessions, horseback riding and trail running, climbing, nature hikes, mountain biking, jungle-based circuit training, exploring the verdant and unparalleled native flora and fauna and getting up close and personal with some of Costa Rica’s infamous locals including the white-faced monkey.
Throughout the retreat enjoy outdoor fitness classes, including surf specific training, adrenaline-pumping exploration and the opportunity to have one on one training with Sophie. The onsite chefs will prepare locally-sourced nutritious meals at the stunning villa perching over the jungle, with free gifting from Plenish Cleanse, Roxy, Ombar Chocolates and more.
You will also have the opportunity to kick back and relax, enjoy the restorative and calming setting of the treetop villa with swimming pool, the Costa Rican culture, beaches and beautiful surroundings, and toast a stunning sunset surf with a beach bonfire. ACCOMMODATION
Surf Bikini Retreat is comprised of 4 cabinas and a beautiful Costa Rican “ tipico” Rancho , the facilities were designed utilising the finest native woods of the Guanacaste region which creates true “Rustico Fino” design”. The Surfers Rancho as we call it, connects to the pool where you may want to use the WiFi , have a message or attend a morning yoga class and take in the breath-taking panoramic jungle mountain views. Chances are good you will be waking up to the sound of howler monkeys playing in the trees outside your cabina or hear the unique sounds of the chachalaca.
All cabinas contain a/c private baths , towels, linens, – and the usual common howler monkey sightings!
